Venue

The main KTH Campus is situated in central Stockholm and covers an area the size of the Old Town.

The KTH Campus is an area undergoing constant development, which ranges from living lab environments to new student accommodation. In 2015 the University received the International Sustainable Campus Network Award for its five-year campus plan – which focuses on sustainability and creating a living campus.
The campus area also includes other higher education institutions such as the School of Dance and Circus, the Swedish Defense University, the University College of Opera and the Swedish Red Cross University College.

The Welcome reception is held at the Nymble, the Student Union Building at KTH, usually regarded as the first functionalistic buidling of Sweden.

During the evening we will have gudied tour around the KTH Campus and, among other things, visit the R1, the cave of the first nuclear power plant in Sweden.

The Conference venue is at the heart of the beautiful KTH Campus.

The conference lounge is in the ”Sing-Sing” building, Lindstedtsvägen 30, where also the department of Industrial Engineering and Management is situated.

The conference sessions will be located to rooms and lecture halls in neibouring buildings, among them, the design awared KTH Library.

The conference is organised by the Department of Industrial Economics and Management  in Stockholm, Sweden.

The conference dinner is held at the world famous Vasa Museum, one of the top three turist attractions in Stockholm.

The museum is situated on the island of Djurgården.
