SPEAK conference: Sustainable planning and environmental assessment

Welcome to the SPEAK conference!

The overall aim of the SPEAK project is to generate knowledge about effective spatial planning for sustainable development and thereby strengthen spatial planning as a relevant and comprehensive means of attaining the national environmental quality objectives. Among the conference themes:
- Strategic environmental assessment (SEA) and planning in an interantional context
- Power dynamics in spatial planning and impact assessment processes
- In search for sustainable development in spatial planning
- Good practice SEA
- Incentives for improving SEA practice and quality
- Looking outside looking ahead - the future role of SEA
