It's the first lecture I've taken for the first term. The lecturer briefly interpreted concepts of methodology, research and discussed about the content of project plan and two parts of research methodology: deductive and inductive. She distributed 3 assignments in which we should organize a group of 2 people and do investigations and finally report in seminar. However, I found the foreigners tend to find partners from their own conutry. I don't want a Chinese partner because I want to make acquaintence with a foreigner so I can practice spoken English, learn different culture and traditions and exchange ideas from a thoroghly different thinking mode. Anne said the deadline is 12 September. I will try before that date. Come on!

Anne said she would put the ppt on the web. I'm waiting for Lei. Maybe she can find where it is.

Excellent thinking Xiaohang! I like your style. However I have already found a partner for this particular course... How about some other courses? I don't know what master's program that you are in though. I am reading the communication systems master. If we have any courses together, I would certainly like to see what you Chineese people go for!
