My research project is about learning biomechanics of falling injuries and finding a preventive flooring system for outdoor applications (Asphalt redesign). During my first year of research, I learned more about bone and specifically, Femoral neck.

Moreover, I worked on improving bone modeling in THUMS model to include more realistic bone characteristics such as geometrical and mechanical properties of the femur. I will present these findings during this seminar.
