Save files and folders

KTH provides the opportunity to save files on KTH file servers as well as on KTH OneDrive.

Save on KTH file servers

KTH provides file servers for both employees and students.

Here you will find information about the file system and how to access your files from different operating systems or from a web browser.

Home directory (H:)

There is personal storage space available only to you (home directory), which you access from any computer you log in, either directly in the file system or through any application. Here you should save your personal files to have them easily accessible.

Students currently have access to 3GB of storage space in the home directory.

Access your files from a web browser

AFS Network file system

The network file system AFS (Andrew File System) is used for home directories on many of KTH's computers and servers. Especially with Unix-like operating systems, Ubuntu and RedHat Linux, Solaris, macOS, etc.
