Welcome to listen to Per Berglund and Karim Engelmark Cassimjee.
Per Berglund is a Professor in Biochemistry and Deputy Head of the Department of Industrial Biotechnology at KTH. He teaches and does research in the field of Biocatalysis focused towards sustainable development goals.
Per is also responsible for PhD students, as a supervisor and teacher throughout their academic careers and beyond.
Karim Engelmark Cassimjee is Alumus of the Year 2021, and holds a PhD degree in biotechnology were Per Berglund was his supervisor. He is now CEO and co-founder of EnginZyme, a biotechnology company based on a technology he invented during his research.
