Examination

Requirements for final grade

The course participants write a 6000 word paper on how their own research related to the methods discussed in the course.

The paper should include all methods. It may be a part of the covering essay.

The participant should show a familiarity with the course literature by discussing and referring to it. If (a) specific method(s) has no relevance for a certain participant, the paper should explain what other methods the participant use instead, and how they are more suitable. The details on how to solve this is left to the participant, but the task is quite open for interpretations.

The paper should be presented and defended at a seminar by the end of the course, and each participant should be opponent on one other paper.

It is compulsory to take part in all seminars and lectures. If a participant misses one occasion, will be given an extra task to solve.
