The study trip is an opportunity to, outside the KTH, gather and collect relevant information that supports the work the students are pursuing in the different 4th and 5th year Design Studio environments, the Architecture Technology courses or in the Architecture Theory and History courses. It further gives an opportunity to relate, compare and give a context to the work/knowledge produced in the Architecture Design Studios. the Architecture Technology courses or in the Architecture Theory and History courses.

Intended learning outcomes
By the end of the course/the study trip the students should be able to:
- collect and identify relevant information
- Critically assess the contexts studied during the study trip
- Compare and put the contexts studied during the study trip in relation to the students own work produced in the Design Studio environments, in the Architecture Technology courses or in the Architecture Theory and History courses.

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
