Intended learning outcomes

After the course, the student should be able to:

  • prepare theoretically and practically laboratory experiments
  • carry out laboratory experiments on electrical machines
  • present experiment results in a written report
  • analyze possible causes of discrepancy in comparison to theory.

Course main content

The course consists of five laboratory tasks

  • Synchronous machines
  • Short-circuit of synchronous machine
  • Transformers
  • Induction machine
  • DC Machines


Laboratory exercises 36h

(Each task requires 8h of preparation and 4h of measurements)
