Reading Group in Advanced Topics in Communication Networks 1

In this course students acquire knowledge and skills regarding an advanced topic in communication networks. The course is generally based on a graduate textbook. Active participation is required in form of presentations and homework. Course participation is limited to a small group. The course topic may change for each installation of the course.

·        Thoroughly understand an advanced topic.

·        Solve problems that can be addressed using the studied methodology.

Kursens huvudsakliga innehåll

Advanced topicsin communication networks, which may change from year to year. Example: randomized algorithms and their application in communication systems.

Kursupplägg

Lectures, exercises solved as homework problems. Students will present both lecture modules and as solved homework problems.

Krav för slutbetyg

·        Successful presentations of lecture modules.

·        Correct solutions to home work problems.

·        Presentation of some of those solutions.
