Hong Kong: HKUST Summer School 2026

This program aims to create a rewarding summer experience for students around the world. As a student, you can participate in the program for either 4 or 8 weeks. It offers a wide variety of undergraduate-level, credit-bearing courses taught by HKUST faculty. The sessions are given from 11 June to 10 July, and 9 July to 7 August, 2026.

As a KTH student, you have a chance to participate in this summer course without paying tuition. KTH has a limited amount of places for this study abroad option.

If you are interested in participating, please contact KTH's regional advisor for Hong Kong. The final deadline is 31 January, but first come-first served applies.

HKUST Summer School welcomes undergraduate students from institutions outside the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to study at HKUST in the summer.

The program aims to create a rewarding summer experience for students around the world. Students can participate in the program for either 4 or 8 weeks. It offers a wide variety of undergraduate-level, credit-bearing courses taught by HKUST faculty and opportunities to participate in local excursions and cultural activities that enable students to gain insight into the region.

Courses

The confirmed course list of the HKUST Summer School 2026 will be made available on HKUST's website  from December 2025. Students can view the tentative Summer 2026 course list on the HKUST Summer School 2026 pamphlet  or refer to last year’s course  list for now.

Special notes: There will be no course add/drop period for HKUST Summer School students. Students are required to submit their study plan during online application. Once the study plan is submitted, no changes to the study plan will be accommodated. Students are advised to consult their home institution in advance if they require prior approval for their study plan at HKUST.

Accommodation

All students will be accommodated in on-campus university housing (shared room). For more information on housing facilities and residential life, please visit HKUST's Student Housing and Residential Life Office website .
