Half-day conference: Energy Communities – sharing and steering of all energy resources
An insightful half-day conference on Energy Communities. Explore innovative ways to create engagement and incentives using energy resources and AI's potential to help households improve their energy performance. We will also discuss the evolving roles of electricity grid owners and trading companies in virtual sharing.
Tid: To 2025-05-22 kl 12.00 - 16.00
Plats: KTH Campus, Lindstedtsvägen 9, floor 3, Room D3
Språk: English
We will ask ourselves, among other things:
- Is it profitable to start Energy Communities?
- How can we create engagement and incentives by using energy resources in new ways and creating additional values in our properties?
- Can we use AI to allow households to improve their energy performance?
- What does the new role of the electricity grid owner and the electricity trading company look like with shared energy in existing electricity grids, so-called virtual sharing?
As speakers, we will find representatives from the EU project Lasagne, where technical conditions for control and sharing have been explored. The citizens’ initiative ElectriCITY talks about it´s experience with citizen engagement, the flexibility market and Energy Community Hammarby Sjöstad (ECHS). The electricity grid owner Ellevio gives its perspective on virtual sharing. The panel debate discusses challenges and how we can create value by working together and investing in new resources.
A conference for energy communities, energycompanies, researchers and companies providing service.
