Runaway Electron Modelling (REM) meeting at KTH
The topic of the meeting was runaway electrons and disruptions in fusion plants, which is one of the highest priority research areas for future fusion reactors.
On the 15th to the 18th of June, the fast electron physics group organized the thirteenth meeting in the "Runaway Electron Modelling (REM) meeting" series.
It was the third time it was organized together with the team in "RT03 Strategies for disruption and runaway mitigation" within EUROfusion's Work Package Tokamak Exploitation (WPTE), and the meeting broke a participant record with over a hundred participants in total, about half of whom participated on site.
The meeting was very international, with participants who came from fifteen different countries around the world, and twenty-six different institutions (universities and research laboratories).
