The "Powertrain Manufacturing for Heavy Vehicles Application Lab" (PMH Application Lab) is a research center at KTH with the focus on transferring innovative production technologies into industrial application. We are looking for a dedicated student to support us in our R&D activities.
Job description
To support PMH Application Lab within the following areas:
- Support in research & development projects (simulation, drawings, literature review, experiments, programming)
- Administration support (arrangement of project meetings, seminars, conferences)
- Documentation (writing reports, preparing slides and project reports)
Qualifications
Applicants must be enrolled for education on bachelor or master level on The Royal Institute of Technology. Relevant experience within smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 would be an advantage. The candidate should be a good team player, flexible and interested to manufacturing technologies in general. Strong logical skills, ability to work independently, basic knowledge of programming is required. Fluent English is a must, and Swedish fluency would be considered as a merit.
Terms of employment
It is a temporary position until 2019-06-30 and is 25% of full time. The starting date is flexible but no later than 2019-01-31. The position could be extended up to one year.
