Gauri Salunkhe spent 6 months in the village of Naidiri in Fiji studying their community-managed Marine Protected Area (MPA) as a NbS using participatory methods as well as ecological surveys.
In this seminar, Gauri will present how the community embraced their local indigenous knowledge, values, methods, and governance systems, and empowered the future generations to implement the NbS to address socio-economic and environmental vulnerabilities.
