“This seminar explores co-generation as a key strategy for advancing and adopting hydro-climate services in water resource management, with a focus on two services (HYFO and Aqua) developed by SMHI and applied in case studies across Sweden. Based on co-design, co-development, co-delivery, and co-evaluation, these hydro-climate services engage service purveyors, data providers, and users for ensuring a collaborative effort. The co-generated services are tailored to the needs of diverse water-related sectors, including hydropower, drinking water, industry and risk management. Results highlight the critical role of knowledge co-evolution, communication of uncertainties, and stakeholder collaboration in enabling informed decision-making, sustainable water resource utilization, and improved resilience especially under extreme conditions.”

Register by 31 October for the seminar and a light lunch.
