Course contents
Intended learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to, in a wide sense, inform and prepare students for different situation at work. The focus is on general issues.
After completing this course students are to:
- understand the importance of personal and professional development in different fields of technique
- have been stimulated to see future possibilities within business and technique
- have a good ability to understand the user´s point of view
- have got further training in writing, presentation technique and reflection of future work
- be able to transform human needs of goods, services and systems to concepts of engineering
- be able to understand the own responsibility at work, and be able to put up aims and sub aims for work and personal development

In the course theory and practice is mixed and some part of this course interact with other courses.
The students mix lectures with visits to work sites at companies and contacts with mentors. Through exercises and seminars they have, as the final report, to produce "their own course literature"
