  • show expertise in the chosen field of technology, including knowledge in mathematics and natural sciences
  • show an understanding of how different variables interact in product realisation

Skills and abilities

  • show good ability, independently and in groups, to identify, formulate and handle technical and organisational problems in machine engineering fields, considering prevailing possibilities and limitations, from idea/need to specification, development, phasing-out, and managing processes for problem-solving/realisation
  • show basic ability to lead people and activities on different organisational levels in multicultural and multi-disciplinary project groups
  • have good ability to utilise modern modelling and simulation methods, and their applications as support for decisions in the professional role
