Course contents
Intended learning outcomes
The aim is to make students familiar with the foundations of microeconomic theory in such a way that they can use theoretical results as tools in applied analysis. This includes duality theory, Lagrange optimization, game and decision theory under risk conditions.
Learning outcome
- Skills to formulate microeconomic problems in the form of optimisation models.
- To capability to interpret optimisation models, results and to use them as a means to derive demand and supply behaviour as well as equilibrium solutions

Specific prerequisites
A completed Bachelor's degree including at least 30 credits in mathematics/economics and documented proficiency in English B or equivalent (TOEFL, IELTS eg).
