About me

I come from Portugal, where I completed both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Optometry and Vision Sciences at the University of Minho. During my Master's degree, I worked as a researcher on a clinical trial at CEORLab, a laboratory within the university, where I developed a strong interest in scientific research. Over the two years I spent in this lab, I had the opportunity to organize and participate in conferences, congresses, and scientific outreach activities. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy travelling, reading, and staying active through sports.
