Welcome to my blog “This Stop, Stockholm”!
This blog serves for the prospective students at KTH, but is not limited to them only: here you will find information about course programmes and campus life at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and beyond that!
At the homepage, you can see four different pages at the upper part, namely “About me”, “My nordic diary”, “Science and more” and “To the prospective students”.
Under ABOUT ME you will see a 700-word essay about me (hope not too lengthy to read :P) , ways to get in touch with me as well as a summary of this blog.
MY NORDIC DIARY contains items and events in my daily life, which I find fun or important to record and share with you! I begin with the blog “Travel in time: visiting museums in Stockholm”, as I am in love with history and society. Soon you will discover an expanding list of “where”, “what”, and “how” here!
SCIENCE AND MORE is customized for science students, or anyone who is interested in science and technology. The motivation of writing this page comes from a course at my first semester of Molecular Techniques in Life Science: it requires us to attend seminars and submit report within a fixed period. At that time, I started to explore open lectures in Stockholm and discovered that the opportunities are overwhelming! Topics in SCIENCE AND MORE will mainly be the ongoing cutting-edge researches at KTH or other research institutes in big Stockholm metropolis. Moreover, the Nobel lecture series next week is something that you certainly don’t want to miss!
As its name suggests, TO THE PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS comprises of useful information regarding application process, introduction of KTH and its master programmes. Questions are especially welcome at this part. There are always no trivial questions: so, please ask
