The scope is expressed in hours or in credits in cases where the course can be credit-based. 1.5 credits correspond to 40 hours of study.

Practical working methods for increased cybersecurity
Society's vulnerability and increasing cyber threats
What threats exist, and how can these be assessed?
How can companies and individuals protect themselves and make relevant decisions to avoid unnecessary risks?
Target groups
The target group is employees in small and medium-sized companies in the tech and manufacturing industries. No prior knowledge is required.
Scope
The module lasts for about one month and covers a total of 20 hours; about 10 hours of teacher-led time and about 10 hours of own work at the company.

The course consists of four parts:
Cybersecurity in a societal context: historical context, new threats and trends, societal vulnerability, counter-reactions, legal aspects.
Risk management: definitions, methods for estimating risk, assessment of threats, responsibilities and roles, problems with excessive security measures.
Cybersecurity culture: risk awareness, cybersecurity with people in focus, incident management.
Target groups
The training is aimed at employees with an interest and a need to develop their knowledge of the basics of cybersecurity.

This training prepares you to work systematically with information security work by implementing an information security management system (LIS) in a public organization or company. The course provides participants with the prerequisites in the form of knowledge and understanding, skills and abilities, as well as the ability to evaluate and approach to implement and manage an information security management system.
Target groups
The training is aimed at those who work with systematic information security/cybersecurity/data protection in some form in the organization and have a responsibility for the work to be carried out. The target group is also others who have a specific connection to information security, cybersecurity or data protection. Participants with responsibility for security protection have also been participants. Some form of experience in IT or experience of information security and/or data protection work from before is required.

Small-scale training on malware (with a focus on ransomware) in common employment scenarios. Technical platform to freely run and experiment with malware in a safe containment, accompanied with educational trainings on IT emergency response.

Many of today's cyber threats in our digital world are due to the human factor. It is therefore crucial to promote a strong information security culture in organizations. This course focuses on understanding and managing the human aspects of information security. By learning how human behavior affects information security and how you can promote positive security habits, both as a manager and employee, you will be able to help reduce the risks of data breaches and security incidents. The course covers topics such as information security and organizational culture, developing culture and security awareness, measuring culture, and the role of information security policies in working with information security culture. After completing the course, you will be equipped with the tools and knowledge to promote a secure culture and reduce vulnerability to cyber threats within your organization.
