Meet the ScAIEM Editors

The ScAIEM community hosts a large number of significant scholars. This year we are proud to present the first “Meet the ScAIEM Editors” where a panel of Nordic editors from leading academic journals will discuss their experiences of scientific publishing. 

The panel consists of the following:

Anna Bergek

Anna Bergek is Professor of innovation systems and technology policy and Vice Head of Department (for research) at the Department of Technology Management and Economics at Chalmers. Her research is mainly focused on technological and industrial dynamics in mature industries and sectors. She is Associate Editor of Research Policy (since 2014).

Ou Tang

Ou Tang is Professor of Production Economics at Linköping University, Sweden. His principal research interest is in the field of operations and supply chain management. He serves as associate editor and editor in the International Journal of Production Economics since 2008, and he is the past-president of the International Society for Inventory Research.

Saku Mäkinen

Saku Mäkinen, PhD, is chaired professor of industrial management, at the Tampere University (TaU), Finland. His research combines technology, strategy and innovation in various streams. He serves in editorial roles including Editor-in-Chief, CERN IdeaSquare Journal of Experimental Innovation, Department Editor, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and Associate Editor, Technological Forecasting & Social Change.

Miia Martinsuo

Prof. Miia Martinsuo (Tampere University, Finland) is professor of Industrial Management. Prof. Martinsuo has over 15 years of academic experience in project and service business, and 9 years of industrial experience particularly in organization and process development in the metal and engineering industry. She is associate editor for International Journal of Project Management, the leading journal for the field of project management and project organization studies.

Jan Olhager

Jan Olhager is Professor in Supply Chain & Operations Strategy at Lund University. He was co-Editor-in-Chief of Operations Management Research in 2012-2018 and now serves on the editorial oversight board. In addition, he is Associate Editor of Decision Sciences and International Journal of Operations & Production Managementand serves on the editorial boards of International Journal of Production Research and Production Planning & Control

Anders Broström

Anders Broström is Associate Professor in the Economics of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the department of Industrial Economics and Management, KTH Royal Institute of Technology. He serves as Associate Editor for Industry & Innovation. The journal is dedicated to scholarship on the dynamics of industries and innovation. Currently, the journal operates with three particular focus themes: Qualifying open innovation; Innovation and international business; and Innovation in the entrepreneurial process."

Thomas Lennerfors

Thomas Lennerfors is Associate Professor at the division of Industrial Engineering and Management at Uppsala University. His research concerns values and value creation in industrial settings. He is Co-Editor of Culture & Organization (since 2019). The journal particularly offers papers which employs ethnographic, critical, and interpretative approaches to organizational and managerial phenomena.
