Claire Dumas is a researcher at the National Institute of Agronomic Research (INRA), Toulouse, in bioprocesses engineering. Her research focuses on link between transfert phenomena and microbial reactions. Particularly she is working on one side on the microbial processes that occur during the deconstruction of the solid residues (i.e. wastes, lignocelllulosic biomass) in bioprocesses with the view to valorization the organic carbon and to understand and optimize the interaction between microbes and substrates during these microbial transformations; and on the other side on the biogas upgrading (or syngas) to methane through biological methanation.
