Innovative light-induced chemical pathway to clean wastewater plants from microplastics

In the EU-funded CLAIM project (Cleaning Litter by developing and Applying Innovative Methods in European seas) at KTH, researchers have proposed a methodology that uses nanocoating and light energy for microplastics degradation in wastewater treatment plants.
