About me

I completed my bachelor's degree with a double major in Physics and Electrical Engineering at Boğaziçi University. This multidisciplinary education provided me with a foundation to explore the intersection of fundamental physics and engineering, particularly in the field of optics. Building on this interest, I pursued a master’s degree at Koç University, focusing on the ophthalmic applications of optics. My research experience further increased my interest for the practical applications of optical science, particularly in developing technologies that improve visual performance and quality of life, motivating me to pursue a PhD in Visual Optics. Beyond academics, I enjoy solving crossword puzzles, exploring the history of different countries, engaging in nature sports, and traveling.
