This session’s guest speaker is Daniel Adshead , a postdoctoral researcher at the Climate Action Centre and the Energy Systems division at KTH. His research focuses on climate mitigation and adaptation policy and its alignment with global development agendas, particularly in infrastructure planning, risk analysis, and sustainable development. Daniel has collaborated with a range of international organizations and partner universities to advance research in these areas.
Before joining KTH, Daniel completed his PhD in infrastructure and sustainable development at the University of Oxford’s Environmental Change Institute. As part of the Infrastructure Transitions Research Consortium (ITRC) and the Oxford Programme for Sustainable Infrastructure Systems (OPSIS), he led projects assessing infrastructure needs under future economic and climate uncertainties, including in developing, small island, and post-conflict countries.
The event is aimed at students at KTH, and everyone who registers in advance will receive vegan wraps, which will be served at 12:00. The talk itself begins at 12:10.
