How to get an international career

Time: Tue 2022-02-08 12.15 - 13.00

Location: Zoom

Language: English

Lecturer: KTH-alumni Klara Hovstadius & Linus Nissen

KTH alumnus Klara Hovstadius graduated from KTH (Mechanical Engineering) in 2018 and decided in the middle of the pandemic to move to Switzerland. She will talk about why Zurich is an optimal city to live and work in as a young person and how to get there.

Linus Nissen, alumni from KTH Open and Design and Product Realization, will share experiences from five years of working as an expat for Business Sweden, the official trade and invest council, in Germany. Germany is the largest economy in Europe and Sweden’s most important trading partner. Germany has a lot to offer, both on a professional and private level. Linus will address topics like German business culture, a map over German industry, Germany as a springboard from Sweden to the world, language skills and concrete “entry level” job opportunities with Business Sweden, both in Germany and globally.
