After Beamtime

Data Analysis
The very first thing you should do after any beamtime is to make a copy of your data (raw-data if possible, otherwise a reduced data-set). Most large-scale facilities will have your data available within their server system and in principle it should be stored and backed up indefinitely. However, from experience, it is highly recommended that you make your own copy. Things can always go wrong, the facility could be hacked (it actually happened more than once) and lastly, it is definitely more convenient to have a local copy available.
