About the speaker:
Prof. Gurdeep Singh is Sr. Professor in the department of Department of Environmental Science & Engg., IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. He has been involved in the planning, design & implementation of Environmentally Benign Designs and Development and Monitoring Compliance of Policies, Standards and Environmental Management Plans in several projects in India. He has been a professor since the last 25 years and has t 3 years as Vice Chancellor, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, 3 years of Director (Current duties) and 12 years as Head, Centre of Mining Environment/ Dept. of Environmental Science & Engineering, IIT(ISM), Dhanbad.
