This session’s guest speaker is Mattias Höjer , Professor in Environmental Strategies and Futures Studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His research focuses on digitalization, urban space utilization, and transport within futures studies for sustainable development, often in the context of smart sustainable cities. He leads a work package on the future of transport in Mistra-SAMS and chairs the Smart Society Working Group at KTH Digital Futures. Mattias has advised the Swedish government and international organizations on sustainability and digitalization and is actively involved in research on energy use in cities, feminist futures, and environmental policy.
The event is aimed at students at KTH, and everyone who registers in advance will receive vegan wraps, which will be served at 12:00. The talk itself begins at 12:10.
