In the move towards more circular economies, it is often emphasized that industrial processes and business models need to change, however the role of the consumer and citizen in circular futures is more seldomly discussed. Kersty Hobson is a Reader in Human Geography and her research concerns socio-political aspects of transitions towards circular economies, particularly the role of the user and consumer.

The talk will be around 30 minutes and then there will be room for question and discussion. Coffee will be served, no registration is necessary.

Welcome!

The talk is hosted by the research programme Mistra Sustainable Consumption  in collaboration with KTH Climate Action Centre.
