Published Sep 23, 2025

Welcome to attend the licentiate seminar of doctoral student Mohd Aiman Khan on 10 October at 10 AM! His research explores how Mobile Autonomous Charging Pods (MAPs) – autonomous battery-electric vehicles that can charge others on the move – could transform EV operations.

With the SUMO simulation platform, the feasibility and impact was evaluated on:

🔹 Reducing battery sizes and infrastructure costs
🔹 Enhancing flexibility and scalability of EV charging
🔹 Supporting continuous operation of electric buses and fleets

Findings suggest that dynamic charging with MAPs can complement conventional charging, offering a more sustainable, cost-efficient, and reliable pathway for future mobility.

This work provides insights not only for researchers but also for policymakers, urban planners, and industry stakeholders shaping the future of sustainable transportation. 🌍⚡🚌.
