Rebel Cities vs Climate Change

Cities have long been the pivotal sites of political revolutions, where deeper currents of social and political change are fleshed out. Consequently, they have been the subject of much utopian thinking about alternatives. The current climate crisis provides the material and speculative opportunity to experiment alternatives and possible futures.

By exploring how cities are facing climate change effects and how might be reorganized in more socially just and ecologically sane ways, that cities can become the focus for anti-capitalist resistance.

With this event we let three cities - Naples, Barcelona, Rome - and other territories speak about their ongoing forms of material and immaterial resistance.
