InspireReads

Person holding up a book

InspireReads is a mobile mini-library at KTH. In practice, it consists of a book spinner filled with books on themes such as gender equality, knowledge production, technological development, and innovation, and a comfortable armchair. It appears in both expected and unexpected places around KTH’s campus.

InspireReads Book List

The collection includes a wide variety of genres – from novels such as The Power by Naomi Alderman to academic works like Data Feminism by Catherine D’Ignazio and Lauren F. Klein. By combining fiction with scholarly literature, InspireReads aims to spread knowledge and highlight the connection between imagination/fiction – for instance, feminist science fiction – and innovative thinking and practices that promote gender equality.

The initiative is a collaboration between InspireLab at KTH and Bokus.
