Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

The course includes lectures on the structure and function of the human body from cells to organism as well as seminars on the structure and function of the human body and anatomical terminology.

Intended learning outcomes

The student should acquire general knowledge about the structure and function of the human body from cell to organ level as well as anatomical terminology. The overview course is important to assure an overall understanding of the human organism in the following course HX1002 Anatomy, physiology and pathology.

The student should acquire general knowledge about medical equipment and its role in today health care for diagnosis, progress and treatment of diseases. Also historical and future perspective is important.
