Last year KTH, as the only Scandinavian university, started a collaboration with   FOUNDER.org , a global network already supporting the commercialization of research and student ideas at top universities such as MIT, Stanford, Berkley, Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge.

FOUNDER.org opens doors

To date the collaboration has been very successful, and during 2014 a number of well attended events and seminars have been held at KTH.Three cases from KTH won a place at the FOUNDER.org University: Shortcut Labs with their smart button Flic, Tinitell and Volumental. The 3D company Volumental was one of ten companies receiving a startup grant of $100K and a place at the university with mentoring for a year. They also secured one of the largest seed investments in Swedish history together with FOUNDER.org, Moore and Intel (read more here)  and are very pleased with the results of their collaboration with FOUNDER.org.
