KTH Schools
KTHs education and research is carried out in five schools. Each School has a management consisting of a Head of School, a Faculty Board and a Management Group. Each school is organized into departments and within the departments there are divisions. Each department is headed by a head of department and each division is headed by a head of division. The Head of School has at least one deputy, called Deputy Head of School. Within the School, there are also management positions such as Director of First and Second Cycle Education (GA), Director of Third-Cycle Education (FA), head of faculty renewal (FFA), and gender equality, diversity and equal conditions officer (JMLA).

Head of school
Each school is headed by a Head of School. The Head of School's duties are set out in the rules of procedure at KTH (arbetsordning vid KTH), the delegation regulations for KTH (delegationsordning för KTH) and other decisions.
Deputy Head of School
The head of school has one or two deputies who act in the head of school's place when he or she is not on duty and otherwise replace the head of school to the extent determined by the head of school. The deputy shall be known as the deputy head of school. The Head of School may also have Deputy Heads who are not deputies.
Management group
Each Head of School has a Management Group which usually consists of Deputy Heads of School, Director of First and Second Cycle Education (GA), Director of Third-Cycle Education (FA), head of faculty renewal (FFA), heads of department and Head of the Administration (skolkansli).
Faculty Board
Each School has a Faculty Board, which is a collegiate preparatory and decision-making body. The Board is chaired by the Head of School and consists of six other faculty members and two external members.

The term of office for each faculty board is 2024-01-01-2026-12-31. More information about the faculty boards is available on each school's intranet.
