COM – Communications Department

Communications Department (COM) is on a central level responsible for developing and providing support within communications and brand.

FO – Finance Office

Finance Office is responsible for the budgeting, accounting, follow-up, financial control, payment flows, procurement and purchasing and coordination of internal control and checks for KTH and University Administration (VS).

HR – Human Resources

Human Resources is responsible for strategic and operational coordination of employer strategies, change management/organization development/negotiations and exercise of official authority. We offer consultations, advice and support, to organize and carry out competence development, and to make assessments within Human Resources.

INV – KTH Innovation

KTH Innovation specialises in the commercialisation of new technology at the earliest stages of development and offers free, objective and confidential support in all areas relevant to taking an idea or research result to innovation. The KTH Innovation team offers researchers, employees and students at KTH support in business development, patents and law, funding, project management, and much more.

IT operates, maintains and develops the KTH central network, telecommunications, administrative systems and common information systems. In addition, IT supports faculty and staff in computer-related issues. IT also coordinates the KTH system groups.

KTHB – KTH Library

The KTH Library supports the academic and digital skills of students and researchers. The library promotes open acess publishing and provides the university with analyses to help them make strategic decisions. The goal is to strengthen the quality of education and research, and to disseminate KTH’s research. The KTH Library is also a central meeting place, and an arena for collaboration.

MO – University Management Office

The Management office assists KTH's management and is responsible for the university’s overall planning and operational analysis, follow-up, investigations, internal governance and control, quality assurance, educational issues, elections, regulations, administrative law and administrative support. The Management office is support to the University Board, President’s and University Director’s decision-making and preparation meetings, the Board of Education, First and Second Cycle Education Committee, Third Cycle Education Committee, the Faculty Council, the Ethics Committee, the Disciplinary Board and KTH’s Committee for Investigating Suspected Deviations from Good Research Practice.

PD – Property Department

The Property Department is divided into six groups: KTH Sustainability Office, Real Estate, Security, SRF Office, Custodial and Maintenance Services. The department is responsible for sustainable development in education, research and collaboration, KTH's environmental management system, facility and space planning, campus development, operation and maintenance of facilities and security.

Research Support Office, offers support to KTH´s researchers, management and other employees related to finding, managing and developing external research funding opportunities.
