Solution Assessment of PartikelART

Device and app shown on mobile phone

Particle contamination has real consequences for precision components. This project puts a connected, light-optical cleanliness monitoring system to the test in live production.

Project description

Technical cleanliness has become an important quality requirement in modern manufacturing, especially for high-precision components. Particle contamination can affect product performance and lead to increased scrap, rework and production costs. To improve cleanliness control, manufacturers need faster and more connected monitoring solutions. PartikelART GmbH has developed a digital particle monitoring system that uses light-optical analysis and connected data platforms to enable real-time cleanliness assessment. This project aims to evaluate the system’s performance and suitability in a real production environment. The study will validate the system’s ability to detect and measure particulate contamination, compare the results with standard laboratory analyses, assess its usability for continuous monitoring and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through real-time feedback.

Outcome

The project will validate the performance and industrial applicability of the PartikelART system, identify its advantages and limitations compared to conventional cleanliness analysis methods, and evaluate its potential for improving process efficiency, reducing costs and enabling wider implementation across production lines.
