During the UN's annual climate conference COP27 on November 8–17, KTH Climate Action Centre hosts a hub in Stockholm together with the organisation We Don't Have Time. A series of seminars and activities will be arranged in the hub, involving industry, researchers, students, and the public.

During this year’s climate conference COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt, leaders, and delegations from around the world will work towards the goals set in the Paris Agreement COP27: Delivering for people and the planet | United Nations .

The organization We Don’t Have Time, a social platform for cooperation in the climate issue, will arrange and stream seminars from the conference in Sharm El-Sheik, together with hubs from Washington DC, Nairobi, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. The hub in Stockholm will be arranged in partnership with KTH Climate Action Centre and will be located on Campus, Valhallavägen 30: COP27 Climate Hub – Nov 08, 2022–Nov 17, 2022  (wedonthavetime.org).

”Here at KTH Climate Action Centre, we are very proud to host this on KTH Campus, and we hope it results in many new contacts between researchers, industry, students, and civil society. Contacts that can lead to new projects and activities to speed up climate action in Sweden and the world,” says Karin Larsdotter, deputy director for collaboration.

During the event, KTH will arrange open activities with researchers and students in the restaurant.

”We want the students to be involved in discussions concerning their future, with societal actors but also with students from other universities in the Stockholm region,” says Erica-Dawn Egan, sustainability strategist at KTH and part of the communications team for KTH Climate Action Centre.

We Don’t Have Time is now searching for students who want to work as volunteers during the event.

”We are looking forward to opening up our broadcasts from COP27 to students, having the hub at KTH. By giving students an opportunity to interact with the COP, we hope for an open dialogue with new perspectives. Competence in sustainability and climate is key when transforming into a low carbon world,” said Christina Carlmark, Partnership Manager på We Don’t have Time.
