2D or not 2D: A networking session for everyone interested in Swedish graphene research

Over the past six months, three innovation offices – at Uppsala University, Linköping University and KTH – have taken a deep dive into the research field of 2D materials. Using open data, we have mapped project grants, publications, and collaborations between research groups and companies. Above all, we have had many long conversations with researchers at our three universities.

We have called the project Prinnovation to emphasise our focus on working “upstream” in relation to the ordinary activities of the innovation offices. The aim has been to listen closely and understand how researchers themselves perceive the conditions for commercialising their findings – and how we can better meet them where they are.

As the project now comes to a close, we invite you to a final Zoom session. Here we will share our lessons learned and distribute preprints of the Prinnovation Playbook, which will soon go to press.

The session is primarily aimed at the researchers we have interacted with during the project, but we also welcome anyone working with research, innovation or policy who is curious about new ways to support research results on their way to societal impact.
