KTH Library – guide for students
Are you a new student at KTH? Or have you already been here for a while but not really discovered what services the library can provide? Engineering studies are both exciting and challenging and throughout your studies you will be in need of finding good, relevant literature and information. The library gives you access to the materials you need and the library staff is trained to guide you to the right sources.

Opening hours and contact
KTH Library consists of three libraries; Main Library and the branch library in Södertälje. At the information desk you can get help from the professional staff to find methods to search for the information you are looking for. Study spaces and group study rooms
In the library you’ll find plenty of study spaces, both quiet study areas as well as computers and spaces where talking is allowed. You and your fellow students can also book one of our group study rooms.
Book a consultation
Are you writing a paper and need guidance in information retrieval, databases, reference management or questions related to publishing? Do you need help with how to write academic texts or an oral presentation? Book a consultation with the library staff who will guide you.
Search for material
The search tool Primo gives you access to printed and electronic publications. You can also see the resources in our database list. If you log in to your KTH account you can access our electronic resources outside of campus.
Library account
If you want to request and borrow printed books or make an interlibrary loan you need to activate your library account.
