Maitreyee Rele is a Master's student in Sustainable Urban Planning and Design at KTH. She believes the stories we hold onto are never random; they stay with us because they mean something. All stories have an origin, some big, small small, but all significant – the moments we notice, the emotions we hold onto, and the details that stay with us. This workshop is for those who want to write but don’t know where to begin.

We will start by looking at everyday moments, the kind we often overlook and learn how to recognise the stories hidden in them. Through simple writing exercises, you’ll explore why certain moments linger in your mind and how to shape them into meaningful storytelling.

There’s no need for experience and no pressure to share, just a space to observe, reflect, and begin writing. Whether you’ve never written before or have ideas but struggle to start, this workshop will help you take the first step.
