Thesis template
To support the preparation of your thesis, there is a template available for both the interior and the cover. The template for the interior is flexible and can be adapted to your needs. KTH’s contracted printing office will assist you with the layout of the cover.
Writing a doctoral or licentiate thesis?
We strongly recommend using the KTH Word template as support when preparing the interior of your thesis, although it is not mandatory. The template is flexible and can be adjusted to suit individual needs and the conventions of your research field. You decide the order of chapters and which sections to include. If you are unsure about the structure or content, consult your supervisor.
A LaTeX template is currently under development.
Cover layout is handled by the printing office
Covers for theses and degree projects are prepared by KTH’s contracted printing office, based on an established design template. They are printed in G5 format (169 × 239 mm). You may include an image, graph or other illustration on the cover. Images can be printed in full color, black and white, or duplex (black combined with the designated color).
The printing office will take care of the layout for the cover, title page, and the following page with book information – you don’t need to do this yourself.
