KTH students win Sustainable Design Hack in Amsterdam

With support from an Erasmus grant, KTH students Anton Oldmark, Mingus Hokkanen and Axel Arvidzon participated in a major student competition in Amsterdam – which they managed to win!
Students Anton Oldmark, Mingus Hokkanen and Axel Arvidzon are members of the KTH association KTH Formula Students , which builds, tests and competes with electric cars. The association participates in student competitions in different European countries every year.
This year, the three of them participated in the Siemens competition Realise LIVE - Student Sustainability Design Hack 2025 in Amsterdam, where the participants compete for 48 hours, focusing on innovation and sustainability. It was especially fun that the KTH group managed to win the competition with its concept "Next generation immersive entertainment setup utilising Ultrasonic Spatial Haptics" and received a mention in Siemens' post from the competition.
This time, Erasmus+ was able to sponsor the students' participation with a travel grant. Are you going to represent KTH abroad in an activity? Contact your international coordinator to see if you have the opportunity to receive a travel grant from KTH.
