Studying abroad is a unique opportunity and experience, a chance for you to round out your résumé while discovering the world, learning about new cultures, and making friends for life. As a student at KTH, you can spend part of your study time abroad without additional costs or extended study time.
Apply for exchange studies
You can now apply for exchange studies for the academic year 2026/2027. The application round is open to those who are studying or have studied their bachelor's degree at KTH. If you have studied for your bachelor's at a university other than KTH, you should apply in the second application round in February next year.
Applications are open until 20 November at 12:00, noon.
Go on exchange studies next academic year! Applications for exchange studies are open in November and February. When to apply depends on whether you study your entire education at KTH or if you only study a master's programme here.
As a KTH student you can carry out your degree project abroad - both on a undergraduate and graduate level. Students who do their thesis within Europe can apply for Erasmus scholarships just like for regular exchange studies.

Exchange studies - Swap your studies at KTH for a semester or two at one of KTH's partner universities.
Degree project - Carry out your degree project at a cmopany or organization abroad.
KTH Field Studies (FS) - Through KTH Field Studies (FS), you can get a travel grant for writing your degree project in a low- and middle-income country.
