Course development

The course will maintain its theoretical, second-cycle focus in cryptography while more clearly communicating its demanding level, expectations, and distinction from applied cryptography at the start and in the course PM. Assessment and structure will be revised to improve transparency and integrity, including a likely shift to fewer homework sets with mandatory oral examinations, clearer grading criteria, and better alignment between intended learning outcomes and assessment. Additional changes include improved scheduling and communication of milestones, clearer project guidance, enhanced learning materials, and slightly adjusted problem design to support motivation and basic pass-level attainment.
