Course development
DD2601 Deep Generative Models and Synthesis 7.5 credits
On this page, you can track the course's development over time. Once the course analysis is published, data for each course offering is displayed, including the number of registered students, course results, and planned improvements for the next session. All course syllabuses and course memos are shown on the page Archive.
The information can help prospective, current, and former students with course selection, or to follow up on their own participation. Teachers, course coordinators, examiners, program directors, and others can use the page as a resource for course development.
2025
Autumn 2025-50363 ( Start date 25 Aug 2025, English )
Changes planned for the next course offering
Add a notebook assignment for module 6. Fix compatibility issues with notebook assignment 7. Shorten/streamline D and E-levels of notebooks 1 and 2. Automated grading of all notebooks, if possible, by running them on a GPU server with nbgrader. Add two more 2-hour lecture blocks to the schedule, to not run out of time and to cover evaluation more in depth. Add brief content/refreshers on deep architectures and differential equations. First pass at syncing content across lecturers, now that all of us have created content. Move more course policies to Canvas. Assign TA tasks at the start of the course. Many minor fixes.
