On this page, you can track the course's development over time. Once the course analysis is published, data for each course offering is displayed, including the number of registered students, course results, and planned improvements for the next session. All course syllabuses and course memos are shown on the page Archive.

The information can help prospective, current, and former students with course selection, or to follow up on their own participation. Teachers, course coordinators, examiners, program directors, and others can use the page as a resource for course development.

2025

xr 2025-60140 ( Start date 14 Jan 2025, English )

Changes planned for the next course offering

Add a new "Lab 0" to provide a basic tutorial on headset usage, including boundary setup and headset booking etiquette. Add paper recap sessions at the beginning of lectures to encourage better preparation for exams. Change Tuesday to be an examination day and Wednesday to be a lecture day. This way, we should adjust the lecture time and exam time so that students can focus on one topic at a time. Rename bonuses to something else since students should be able to get an A without doing bonuses. Change Lab 2 to become Lab 1. Merge Lab 1 and Lab 3. Introduce Lab 7 as a free project to work on alone or in pairs. This will add an option for students can do a project to connect all the things they have learned Add a Mentimeter during the first lecture to gather experience and expectations from students about the course. Create a platform, e.g., a Discord channel, so that all students can discuss and help each other, and find partners for group work. Add a quiz to cover the questions about lecture material before oral examination. Introduce video submission of the lab and the bonus tasks with answering clear questions. Make it clear that questions about papers are: what is the problem the authors are trying to solve? What have they done to solve it? What are the main findings? Invite industry experts to the last lecture and let students ask their questions.
